ONDA Smart System from AL-KO Vehicle Technology Electronics

When a house automatically lowers the shutters at dusk or tells the owner if windows have been left open, we call it a “smart home.” However, when it comes to recreational vehicles, “smart motorhomes” are not yet a widespread concept and very few turnkey systems exist in the marketplace. This is why the ONDA Smart System, a series of devices with Bluetooth connectivity via smartphone, was created. This solution is designed primarily for the aftermarket segment and is very easy to integrate directly into a vehicle’s existing system. The ONDA Smart System now includes three different measuring and control devices. The PRM400 solar controller, the BDS200 battery selector and a new-generation shunt, each can be controlled via one dedicated app on a smartphone or tablet. The touchscreen panels allow electrical and electronic systems in camping vehicles to be controlled and monitored even more efficiently. They are equipped with 7- or 10-inch touchscreens as well as Bluetooth and WiFi.
